THE NITTY-GRITTY ON COMMENTING

I have forsaken the phrase TERMS OF USE as I feel it scares the hell out of people…

with the way they read these days it’s perfectly rational to run for the hills when you see those three little words.

In fact, I’d advise you to–at the very least–skim read these things and make sure they aren’t asking for your first born child, or a slight limb donation before you accept/sign them.

In this case I’m going to make it plain-and-simple:

I reserve the right to delete any comment, for any reason.

By commenting on my work you are agreeing to those terms.

If you’ve already read the ABOUT section you may think me a bit of an arse, but I do ask that your negative comments serve a purpose, other than to mount an attack, for the sake of doing so.

I will delete all negative comments that are just venom for the sake of envenomating.

I can’t say that I’ve ever received any truly glowing comments, yet, but I certainly would appreciate it if the comments weren’t just general smoke-blowing.

It’s much more helpful (to me, to writers  in gen.) if a person can state what specifically they liked, or didn’t like about a piece.

That bein’ said: I DO HOPE you enjoy my work. And I will always try to offer some of it for free, where, and when, I feel it’s appropriate to do so.

Thanks for reading,

S.C. Denton
